Revolutionary innovation awarded: GRAND PRIX for CORSO GLASS

Already then it’s been heard only words of praise and admiration. Now, eight months later CORSO GLASS gained an award - at the exhibition For Arch Prague an expert jury awarded our “hot feature” with the GRAND PRIX title for the best product.

Justification of the jury: „The original solution for glazed terrace, restaurants and cafes front gardens, using the highest quality materials - metal and glass. The system is unique especially with its variability and mobility as the weather changes.“

Why is the CORSO GLASS enclosures so special? Why is it better than other terrace enclosures models?

Experts, but also general public, was fascinated mainly by the ease of segment’s shifting. Safety glass used in the side walls and half-quenched glass used in the roof and the massive aluminum profiles – these all are extremely heavy parts – for your imagination: segment 2 x 4 x 2 m weighs more than 400 kg! For such a weight, we had to adjust the rails and the other parts of the enclosure. The result is just as easy to move as other ALUKOV enclosures. CORSO GLASS can be up to 4,5 meters wide.

Half-quenched glass is very solid and impact resistant, so it is suitable and safe for the use in the roof of enclosure. Very slight bending on one side ensures that the roof can’t sag, on the other hand can CORSO GLASS be easily recognizable at first sight from the classical model CORSO.

And how was the exhibition For Arch 2013?

In a few words: extremely successful. Not just because of the Grand Prix award, but also thanks to the large attendance of our stands and the huge interest in our enclosures. For example, the sliding terrace enclosure CORSO we showed to the visitors in four different types - from basic, which combines polycarbonate and aluminum profiles, through two variants combining safety glass and polycarbonate, to all-glass model. And thanks to this everyone found the best version for himself. Now we are in full working swing, and that we like the best.
